By using Pocket Status you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, these terms and conditions.

2. Agreement to Terms

This Agreement takes effect on the date on which you first use the Pocket Status application or create an account.

3. The Service

Pocket Status provides a simple availability status sharing service. Users can set their status as Available (green), Away (amber), or Busy (red), optionally add a message, and share their status via a public profile page. The service is provided free of charge.

4. User Accounts

You may sign up using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to share your account credentials with others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Pocket Status only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Post misleading or deceptive status information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

6. Content

You retain ownership of any content (status messages) you post on Pocket Status. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content as part of the service. Public statuses are visible to anyone who visits your profile page.

7. Disclaimer

It is not warranted that Pocket Status will meet your requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

Pocket Status shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time without prior notice for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via the service or email. Your continued use of Pocket Status after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia. You acknowledge that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Pocket Status as a result of your use of these services.
